Our Why

We believe in the power of God to change lives. We believe that God gives every believer a unique set of gifts and talents that He fully expects them to use to impact the lives of others, and that’s why Launch exists. Launch was created to minister the gospel and make disciples through the performing arts so that people’s lives are changed for eternity. That’s our why. That’s what makes us different.

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations”
(Matthew 28:18-20).

 

Our Productions

Launch is committed to presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ not just through the shows that we produce, but through the way in which we produce them as well. While not every show we produce will be a dramatization of Scripture, our aim is to produce every show we do in a manner that glorifies God through excellence and moral integrity.

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men”
(Colossians 3:23).

Our Name

Launch derives its name from the instruction Jesus gave Peter and his brother Andrew to “launch out into the deep and let down [their] nets for a catch” (Luke 5:4). Afterwards, Jesus told Peter and Andrew that He would make them “fishers of men” (Matt. 4:18-20). There is no one way to minister the gospel. The performing arts is the net that God has given us at Launch to build relationships that enable us to share our faith, so that people’s lives are changed for eternity.
